The Sun have claimed that West Ham United and Crystal Palace are going head to head to sign Blackburn Rovers playmaker Bradley Dack ahead of the January transfer window.

The 24-year-old has been in sensational form for the Championship side this season, scoring 10 goals and creating five more from attacking midfield during his 17 league and cup outings.

In a Blackburn side that are sitting in a solid tenth place but are not expected to challenge for the top six, Dack has been a shining light and has almost single-handedly carried Rovers into the top half.

Since joining the Lancashire-based side in the summer of 2017, Dack has amassed a huge 28 goals in 62 games from midfield. His creativity has also shone through, laying on 16 assists.

West Ham eye Dack as they still remain without mercurial playmaker Manuel Lanzini, who continues to undergo rehabilitation on his anterior cruciate ligament injury which he suffered just before Argentina’s World Cup campaign.

Palace are in need of goals and creativity if they are to avoid relegation, and Roy Hodgson has appeared to have identified Dack as the man to provide that. Interested clubs will have to dig deep for Dack, though, with his price tag said to be £20million.
