West Ham United have agreed to part company with the winger according to a report in Italy.

According to a report from Italian website Tutto Sport, West Ham United have agreed to sell Sofiane Feghouli to AS Roma this month.

The Algeria international arrived at the Hammers as a free agent last summer and big things were expected of him after his impressive spell in La Liga.

However, the wide man has struggled for game time – in part due to injury – and it is now being reported that he will be allowed to leave to pursue regular first-team football.

It is not stated how much West Ham can expect to get for the 27-year-old, but given his lack of impact thus far it could be best for all concerned.

Feghouli missed the start of West Ham’s Premier League campaign due to a hamstring injury and he has been in and out of the team since then, having to make do with substitute appearances as he bids to rediscover his best form.

With West Ham needing additional strength in key areas, they are likely to have lined up a replacement if, as reported, they have agreed to part company with a player who only arrived a few short months ago.
