According to a report in the Daily Mail, West Bromwich Albion’s senior players were upset by Alan Pardew’s treatment of both Sam Field and Oliver Burke.

Pardew’s disastrous spell at West Brom came to an end yesterday, and it is said that the senior players in the squad disagreed with some of his techniques.

Pardew took a hard line stance with Albion’s younger players, to try and get the best out of the team.

However, the Baggies older players are said to have not agreed with the way Pardew singled out Sam Field after a defeat to Manchester City.

Pardew was reportedly also aggressive with Burke, despite using the wide-man as a substitute fairly regularly.

Pardew leaves Albion sitting at the bottom of the Premier League table, with their relegation looking inevitable.

West Brom are 10 points away from safety, with just six games remaining this term.

Pardew has been replaced by Darren Moore, who could remain in charge at the Hawthorns until the end of the season.
