West Bromwich Albion defender Allan Nyom is set to join Leganes on a season-long loan deal in the summer transfer window, according to The Express & Star.

It has been reported that the 30-year-old right-back could complete his loan move from West Brom to Leganes as early as today.

Difficult time

Nyom joined West Brom from Watford in the summer of 2016 for a transfer fee reported by The Express & Star to be worth £3 million.

The Cameroon international played well for the Baggies during the 2016-17 campaign, as the right-back made 29 starts and three substitute appearances in the Premier League, according to WhoScored.

The right-back made 25 starts and four substitute appearances in the Premier League for West Brom last season, according to WhoScored.

The performances of Nyom last season were quite disappointing, and one should not be surprised that the defender is reportedly set to leave The Hawthons on loan for Leganes in the summer transfer window.
