West Bromwich Albion are said to be keen to sign Scott McKenna, who Aston Villa wanted in the summer.

West Brom are keen to snap up McKenna, who has turned into one of the most in demand players in Scotland.
McKenna’s performances at the heart of Aberdeen’s defence have caught the eye of a number of English clubs, with a move down south now looking inevitable.
West Brom reportedly sent scouts to watch McKenna at the weekend, as they look to rival Villa for the centre-back.

Darren Moore’s side are likely to be on the look out for defenders in January, as they have looked shaky at the back throughout the season so far.
West Brom have shown great quality going forward, but at the back they have looked far from strong.
It is not yet clear whether Villa will return for McKenna in January, but Dean Smith has hinted that he would like to add to the claret and blues’ defence at the next available opportunity.
