West Ham United and Burnley reportedly want Craig Dawson of West Bromwich Albion.

It has been reported that Burnley are interested in signing Dawson from Championship side West Brom in the summer transfer window.

The report has also claimed that the Hammers have had a £12 million bid for the versatile defender turned down by the Baggies.

Dawson is a good defender who has extensive Premier League experience, and his versatility to play as a centre-back or as a right-back also makes him an attractive target for any club in the English top flight.

West Brom may have gone down to the Championship, but the Baggies do not have to sell any of their best players.
However, it is hard to see West Ham or Burnley cough up as much as £20m for a 28-year-old who is technically a Championship player at the moment.
