West Bromwich Albion have been linked with Ahmed Hegazy of Al Ahly in the summer transfer window.
It has been reported that Al Ahly have given Hegazy permission to go ahead and finalise a one-year loan deal with West Brom.

According to the report, the Baggies will pay a loan fee in the region of €1 million (£875901.25) for the central defender and will have the option to sign the 26-year-old for €4 million (£3.5m) on a permanent contract.
Kingfut.com has also claimed that the Egypt international will arrive in England today in order to complete his medical and finalise his transfer from the Egyptian club to the Premier League outfit.
Hegazy has not played for an English football club before, but he has experience of playing in mainland Europe, having been on the books of Italian club Fiorentina from 2012 until 2015.
West Brom need to sign a centre-back in the summer transfer window, and it seems that manager Tony Pulis has decided to bring in Hegazy.
