Nottingham Forest sporting director Luke Dowling is reportedly wanted by West Bromwich Albion.

Earlier this month, The Express & Star claimed that Dowling was on the radar of West Brom, who are playing in the Championship this season after getting relegated from the Premier League at the end of the 2017-18 campaign.
Dowling joined Forest only in February 2018, but, according to The Daily Mail, Championship rivals West Brom are poised to announce him as their technical director.
It has been reported that Forest and West Brom are close to agreeing on a compensation package, and that Dowling will move to the Baggies from the Reds in the next 24 minutes.

Pushing for promotion
Both Forest and West Brom are aiming to finish in the top six of the Championship this season.
The Baggies are third in the Championship table at the moment with 17 points from nine matches, a point behind second-placed Middlesbrough.
As for Forest, the Reds are currently ninth in the league table with 14 points from nine matches.
