West Bromwich Albion are said to be considering bringing in Newcastle United winger Jacob Murphy alongside Jefferson Montero.

West Brom are set to take Jefferson Montero on loan from Swansea City, and there had been some suggestions that move would mean that Albion stepped away from Murphy.
However, it seems that Darren Moore feels he has room in his squad for both Montero and Newcastle’s £12m man (Sky Sports) Murphy.
The Magpies winger has been West Brom’s top target for much of January, as they look to replace Harvey Barnes.
The Express and Star claim that Newcastle will only loan out Murphy once they have signed a replacement, which they still have not done yet.

Newcastle are thought to be closing in on additions today though, as reported by the Chronicle, which could mean that Murphy’s move to the Hawthorns goes through later in the day.
West Brom are currently in fourth place in the Championship table, four points away from the automatic promotion slots.
