West Bromwich Albion are chasing a striker this month, but they are struggling to get a deal done.

The Baggies had made enquiries over both Liverpool forwards, but doing a deal looks impossible.
Sturridge could well be set to head out to Serie A, while Ings is likely to stay at Anfield.
And West Brom are now having to look elsewhere, as Alan Pardew looks for a new forward.

Albion also have an interest in Watford forward Troy Deeney, but cannot afford to bring him in right now.
Watford want a hefty fee for Deeney, and West Brom simply do not have the funds to bring him to the Hawthorns currently.

Pardew’s side could offload in-demand defender Jonny Evans to fund a move for Deeney, but right now it seems that they will miss out.
West Brom have made signing a new striker their priority this month, but Pardew’s side are yet to bring in any new players to help them in their battle against the drop.
