West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Ben Gibson from Middlesbrough in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
However, according to the report, West Brom are reluctant to pay the transfer fee of £30 million that Middlesbrough are claimed to want to part company with Gibson.

Other interested clubs
Tony Pulis’s West Brom are not the only club who are (reportedly) interested in signing the 24-year-old defender in the summer transfer window.
According to The Daily Mail, Liverpool, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur are also interested in the former England Under-21 international.
Worth £30 million?
Gibson is a very good defender and has been one of the best players for relegation candidates Middlesbrough in the Premier League this season.
The defender is probably not worth £30m at the moment, as he does not have too much experience of playing at the very top level, but he is certainly a very promising player who is only going to get better.
Gibson has scored one goal and created two chances in 34 Premier League appearances for Boro so far this season.
