West Bromwich Albion head of recruitment Nick Hammond watched Charlton Athletic’s Jordan Cousins.

According to a report in the Express and Star, West Bromwich Albion’s head of recruitment, Nick Hammond, was in attendance at Charlton Athletic’s pre-season friendly against Welling to keep tabs on midfielder Jordan Cousins.
West Brom have made Cousins a transfer target this summer, as Tony Pulis looks to bolster his squad.
The Baggies have turned their attention to bringing in players from the Football League – with Cousins one of a number of targets they have identified.

Albion could be ready to step up their interest in Cousins, with Hammond now keeping a close eye on his performances.
Cousins played for 45 minutes against Welling, and he helped the Addicks pick up a 4-1 victory against the non league outfit.

West Brom believe that the midfielder could be available, following Charlton’s relegation to League One.
Cousins made 42 appearances for Charlton last season, and he scored on two occasions.
