West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Japhet Tanganga on loan from Tottenham Hotspur before the January transfer window closes on Monday, according to The Express & Star.
It has been reported that West Brom have shown interest in the 21-year-old defender, who can operate as a centre-back and as a right-back.
Stay or leave?
Tanganga has yet to play in the Premier League this season, but the youngster has featured in other competitions.
According to WhoScored, the 21-year-old has played thrice in the Europa League, and twice each in the FA Cup and the EFL Cup for Spurs so far this season.

During the 2019-20 campaign, the youngster played six times in the Premier League and once in the Champions League for Tottenham, according to WhoScored.
The English youngster will be a squad player at Spurs for the rest of the season, and he could get more chances at West Brom.
However, if the defender stays at Tottenham for the rest of the season, then he will get the chance to impress head coach Jose Mourinho in training on a daily basis.
