According to The Daily Star, West Bromwich Albion will not sell Salomon Rondon for anything less than £16.5 million amid interest from Wolverhampton Wanderers, West Ham United and Newcastle United.

It has been reported that Premier League trio Wolves, West Ham and Newcastle all are interested in signing Rondon from Championship club West Brom in the summer transfer window.

The 29-year-old striker spent the 2018-19 campaign on loan at the Magpies from the Baggies.

The Venezuela international made 30 starts and two substitute appearances in the Premier League for Newcastle this season, scoring 11 goals and providing seven assists in the process, accoridng to WhoScored.

The Daily Star has claimed that Newcastle have been trying to secure the services of Rondon for £12m, but West Brom want the entire release clause of £16.5m.

It makes sense for the Baggies to maintain this stance, as if they cannot get any club to buy Rondon for £16.5m, then they could simply keep him in the team in their quest to win promotion from the Championship.
