West Bromwich Albion have drawn up two lists of transfer targets ahead of the upcoming transfer window, with the Express and Star reporting that Queens Park Rangers winger Bright Osayi-Samuel is one of the top priorities.

While everyone was talking about Ebere Eze after a series of sublime performances from the QPR number ten in the first half of the season, another member of Mark Warburton’s squad has hit the headlines since the turn of the year.

A slaloming solo goal right out of the Ryan Giggs playbook against Birmingham City in January paved the way for Osayi-Samuel to challenge Eze’s status as QPR’s go-to talisman.

And, like the England U21 international, the jet-heeled winger has found himself linked with a whole host of clubs with his time at Loftus Road seemingly coming to an end.

West Brom were linked back in January and the Express and Star reports that he still has admirers at The Hawthorns. Manager Slaven Bilic and technical director Luke Dowling have apparently drawn up two lists of targets; one if they miss out on promotion and one if they seal a return to the Premier League.

While it is uncertain whether Osayi-Samuel is a target for the Championship, the Premier League or both, the former Blackpool star is likely to be the subject of an offer from West Brom sooner rather than later.

He will cost more than £3 million, however. Club Brugge saw a bid of exactly that amount rejected this week.
