West Bromwich Albion have reportedly registered an interest in signing Robert Huth on a free transfer this summer.

Huth is a free agent this summer after his Leicester City contract expired, and the Mail reports that a number of clubs from the Championship are keen to land him during the coming weeks.

If West Brom were able to bring him to the club this summer, it would arguably be a very good piece of business from Darren Moore’s men with Jonny Evans taking his place at the Foxes this summer.

Huth endured a disappointing final season at Leicester, but previously played a key role for their side and missed just three league games during the campaign where Leicester stunned the football world by winning the Premier League title.
The former Germany international would be a very shrewd signing this summer, and with it seeming somewhat unlikely that the Baggies will have an easy time holding onto their other key players while the window is open, it would certainly be a positive for Moore’s men if they could leap ahead of Boro in the race and land Huth on a free.
