West Bromwich Albion are reportedly hoping to sign the Premier League midfielder on loan during the January transfer window.

West Brom are eyeing a January loan bid for Fulham midfielder Stefan Johansen, according to a report from The Sun (05/01; page 63), as Darren Moore continues to make a lively start to the window at The Hawthorns.
The Baggies have already signed Mason Holgate on loan from Everton for the rest of the season, while Oliver Burke has headed out the exit, having joined Celtic until the summer.
The Express and Star recently reported that a new midfielder was Moore’s priority during the remaining weeks of the window, and it appears that he may have found one key target who could fill that void.

Johansen has endured a difficult season in the Premier League. He has made 12 appearances this term, but has started just four times. But the former Celtic man was superb during Fulham’s promotion-winning campaign last year.
Johansen scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 48 appearances as Fulham went on to win at Wembley. Anything like that sort of return, if he ends up moving to West Brom for the second-half of the season, would surely leave the Baggies in pole position to secure promotion at the first time of asking.
