West Bromwich Albion boss Slaven Bilic has his heart set on signing £6 million winger Adem Ljajic from Besiktas this summer, according to Fanatik.
With the Baggies potentially just a handful of games away from sealing their return to the Premier League, it seems that their charismatic coach is already planning to take advantage of Besiktas’s perilous financial position.
And the door has swung open for two experienced internationals to make bargain moves to The Hawthorns.
Bilic has already been tipped to raid his former employers for Croatian centre-back Domagoj Vida. But a man who shot to fame at the 2018 World Cup is not the only Istanbul-based star on West Brom’s radar.
Former Manchester United, Roma and Inter Milan winger Ljajic is a target too, according to Fanatik, with Besiktas facing up to the prospect of selling a 45-time Serbia international who they signed for £6 million less than a year ago.

A talented if somewhat erratic player, Ljajic has rediscovered his golden touch in Turkey after a couple of difficult years, producing five goals and seven assists for the Super Lig giants.
He could fill a Grady Diangana-shaped void at the heart of West Brom’s attack, with the West Ham loanee expected to return to the London Stadium later this year. Matheus Pereira and Callum Robinson are also facing uncertain futures at The Hawthorns.
“Ljajic is different class,” former Roma teammate Radja Nainggolan once said about Ljajic, in comments that still ring true today.
“He only needs constancy.”
