Everton are willing to let Cenk Tosun leave Goodison Park on loan or on a permanent basis as West Bromwich Albion show interest in the £27 million forgotten man, according to Sporx.
The former Besiktas talisman just cannot catch a break in English football.
After 12 months gathering dust on the bench at Everton, Tosun was offered a fresh start at Crystal Palace during the January transfer window.
But, shortly after marking his full debut with a brilliantly taken header in a 2-2 draw away to Manchester City, the 29-year-old would suffer a serious injury which brought a premature end to his time at Selhurst Park.
Yet with Slaven Bilic now back in the Premier League, Tosun might be in luck – at last, you might add.
After all, the West Brom boss is a big fan of a classy centre-forward who fired Besiktas to a pair of Super Lig titles before becoming one of the most expensive signings in Everton’s history.
“Cenk is a classic number 9,” Bilic told Fanatik back in 2018. “He is extremely dangerous in the penalty area and in narrow spaces. A striker who knows how to be in the right place at all times and finishes.”

Sporx claim that West Brom have made their interest in the Turkey international known, with a short-term or full-time deal possible given that Tosun appears to have no place in Carlo Ancelotti’s plans at Everton.
Given that no player in Bilic’s squad netted more than 10 Championship goals in 2019/20, a more reliable attacking option is required if West Brom are to avoid boinging back into the second tier at the first time of asking.
The Mirror (5 March , page 59) claims that Everton want £20 million for Tosun – a fee that would make him West Brom’s record signing.
