It is claimed that West Bromwich Albion would be interested in their former Everton loanee even if Darnell Furlong arrives from Queens Park Rangers.

West Bromwich Albion would be keen to bring Mason Holgate back to the Hawthorns if Everton are willing to loan him out again, the Express and Star reports.
It is claimed West Brom are waiting to learn Everton’s plans for the versatile defender, who spent the second half of last season with the Baggies.
And signing the Queens Park Rangers right-back, Darnell Furlong, won’t end West Brom’s interest in Holgate, according to the Express and Star.
Holgate can play in Furlong’s role as well as at centre-half, where Albion are at least a body short after losing Craig Dawson and Tosin Adarabioyo this summer.
Semi Ajayi arrived from Rotherham United last week, but he can also operate in central midfield.

It is claimed that Furlong’s £1.5 million arrival will spark the sale of another right-back, Allan Nyom, to Getafe.
The new West Brom manager, Slaven Bilic, has already done deals for the Benfica midfielder, Filip Krovinovic and the Cardiff striker, Kenneth Zohore, as well as Ajayi.
Bilic played for Everton between 1997 and 1999.
