Brighton join Huddersfield and Southampton in the race to sign Chelsea youngster Izzy Brown.
Brighton and Hove Albion are looking to sign Izzy Brown from Chelsea on loan, reports the Argus, beating Huddersfield Town to the youngster’s signature.
Brown impressed on loan at the John Smith’s Stadium in the latter half of last season, scoring five goals in 21 appearances as the Terriers won promotion to the Premier League via the playoffs.

Ahead of their first campaign back in the top flight since 1972, Huddersfield manager David Wagner wants to bring the forward back – with the Daily Mail stating in June that advanced talks had been held over an £8.5m transfer.
Yet this latest report claims that Brown will instead sign a new contract at Stamford Bridge and then go out on loan, and Brighton are hoping to convince the Blues to send the 20-year-old to the Amex Stadium.
Both clubs face competition from Southampton, however, with the Huddersfield Examiner claiming the Saints are planning a swoop for the attacker themselves.
Brown has made just one senior appearance for Chelsea after signing from West Bromwich Albion in 2013 and has also had loan spells at Vitesse Arnhem and Rotherham United in the past.
