West Bromwich Albion are looking to make a formal move for Vyacheslav Karavaev in January.

The 22-year-old started his youth career at CSKA Moscow and joined Sparta Prague in 2016. He has had a steady progress at his new club, and has caught the attention of West Brom and Lazio.

The report claims that the Baggies are set to make a £2.5 million bid in January for the Sparta Prague right-back.
Right back is one area where Tony Pulis is probably looking to bolster in the January transfer window. Pulis has Allan Nyom and Craig Dawson as two recognized right-backs at his disposal, but it seems that he is still keen to add competition for that place.

Meanwhile, West Brom are going through a bad patch at the moment, after a solid start to their 2017/18 Premier League campaign.
The Baggies are winless in their last six games in all competitions, and find themselves 11th in the Premier League (they face Leicester City away on Monday night) after seven games.
