West Bromwich Albion are reportedly monitoring Marco Silva as Alan Pardew comes under increasing pressure at The Hawthorns.

With Huddersfield the team directly above the bottom three in the Premier League, many West Brom fans would have been forgiven for believing that Saturday’s defeat to the Terriers would have been the final straw for Alan Pardew.
Pardew’s appointment has not had the desired impact with the Baggies still seven points off safety and boasting just one league win since they began the campaign with six points out of a possible six in the first two games.

The loss to David Wagner’s side has surely pushed Pardew closer to the brink. And a report from the Daily Mail suggests that the West Brom hierarchy are already considering potential replacements should they decide to sack the 56-year-old.
According to the Mail, West Brom are admirers of Marco Silva and he is a name that has been mentioned as a potential option to pursue should they sack Pardew.

Despite suffering a relegation with Hull City and then being sacked at Vicarage Road, Silva’s stock in England appears to be extremely high and it appears that he has the potential to prove a brilliant appointment for another club if he is given time to build on his promise.
Unfortunately for West Brom however, it appears that if they decide to confirm their tentative interest with an approach for the Portuguese – should Pardew be sacked – they will have to prepare themselves to be knocked back.
