
West Brom youngster Jamaldeen Jimoh has reportedly caught the eye of Premier League giants and UEFA Champions League powerhouses Chelsea.
According to the Sun, the 15-year-old midfield prospect is a target for the west London club, who are scouting England for domestic talents to add to their already flourishing youth academy.
Chelsea’s youth set-up is regarded as one of the best in Europe and has in recent years seen several incredible talents make a name for themselves at top-flight level, such as Mason Mount, Tammy Abraham and Tino Livramento.
And now, the Blues are keen on signing Jimoh, who has impressed for West Brom at youth level this season and is already an England U-16 international, with the midfielder regarded as a talent who could go far with the Baggies.
West Brom’s academy has developed and produced some impressive talents over the years, and Jimoh could be the next name off the production line for the West Midlands-based Championship club with Chelsea now eyeing the youngster.
A dynamic midfielder, Jimoh has won plaudits this season, and for West Brom, losing out on the teenager will be another blow to their youth set-up which has seen countless players leave the Hawthorns for bigger clubs across England and beyond.
