Derby County and Norwich City are amongst the five teams to have made a loan bid for West Bromwich Albion winger Sam Field.
According to a report from the Express and Star, West Brom have turned down five loan bids for Sam Field with Derby and Norwich among the sides to make a move for the youngster.
The Express and Star reports that the Rams and Canaries have been joined by the likes of Sheffield United, Barnsley and MK Dons in the running for the teenager, who Tony Pulis does want to loan out for the coming campaign in an attempt to get him some regular first-team football.

However, the Express and Star adds that the Baggies’ lack of transfer activity has meant that Field is currently high in the pecking order for a central midfield role in Pulis’ side, and thus, he has rejected the bids reluctantly.
And it appears that even if West Brom manage to bolster their midfield options during the remaining weeks of the window, Pulis may actually now find it difficult to move Field on as the Express and Star reports that some of the sides have now withdrawn their bids.
The situation perhaps exemplifies just how frustrating a window it has been for West Brom, with Pulis struggling to get more than a couple of deals across the line so far during this summer.
The lack of success has not only forced Pulis to probably get a little more desperate as he tries to get more players in, but it has also clearly prevented the Baggies boss from allowing the young starlets within his squad to make the moves that would arguably benefit their development more than staying put and struggling for game-time.
