West Bromwich Albion boss Tony Pulis wants to test Tottenham Hotspur’s resolve over Vincent Janssen, according to the Sunday People (30 April, page 52).
The report claims that Pulis is desperate to land a new striker this summer and is a big fan of the Dutchman, for whom Spurs paid £18.79 million 10 months ago (Transfermarkt).
Jansson has struggled to replicate the form that saw him end his first ever Eredivisie campaign as top scorer last term – finding the net just twice in the Premier League and six times in total.
The 22-year-old has vowed to stay at White Hart Lane, although Tottenham may be keen to cash in on the player if a replacement can be found.

Salomon Rondon is West Brom’s only recognised centre-forward following the sale of Saido Berahino in January, but the Colombian has not scored a single goal for the Baggies since December.
Janssen’s former Tottenham teammate Nacer Chadl moved to the Hawthorns in August for £12.92 million (Transfermarkt).
