West Bromwich Albion are reportedly looking to offer a deal to free agent midfielder Momo Sissoko.

According to The Mirror, West Bromwich Albion are ready to offer a deal to trialist Momo Sissoko – but Sunderland are preparing to hijack the move.
With West Brom enduring a frustrating end to the summer transfer window, manager Tony Pulis is turning his attention to the free agent market, where he can improve his squad outside of the transfer window.

Former Arsenal attacker Marouane Chamakh featured against Delhi Dynamos on Saturday as he attempts to win a contract, and fellow trialist Momo Sissoko was also in action.
Sissoko, 31, is a free agent having left Chinese side Shanghai Shenhua earlier this year, and could be in line for a return to the Premier League having seemingly impressed Baggies boss Pulis.

The Mirror report that West Brom are ready to offer Sissoko a permanent contract at The Hawthorns, handing the former Liverpool ace a move back to England, eight years after he left Anfield for Juventus.
However, the Baggies may not have it all their own way. The report states that Sunderland are now preparing a late move to hijack West Brom’s deal for Sissoko, as manager David Moyes wants him at the Stadium of Light.

Moyes will be looking for an experienced midfielder to a youngster like Lynden Gooch, and with Sissoko a free agent and possessing Premier League and Champions League experience, he fits the bill perfectly.
A powerful holding midfielder who stands at a huge 6ft 3in tall, the former Mali international – who racked up 34 caps for his country – may end up having the choice of two Premier League clubs to join, but having spent time with West Brom over the last few days, he may be more inclined to choose the Baggies.
