Could Moussa Sissoko move to West Bromwich Albion and Callum McManaman join Newcastle United on transfer deadline day?

West Bromwich Albion have proposed Newcastle United a swap deal involving Callum McManaman and Moussa Sissoko, according to The Daily Mail’s Transfer news LIVE blog (10:52, August 31, 2016).
It has been reported that Premier League outfit West Brom have proposed sending winger McManaman to Newcastle and signing midfielder Sissoko from the Championship club on transfer deadline day.

However, according to the report, the Magpies are unwilling to entertain the idea. The Daily Mail claims that Newcastle are interested in securing the services of McManaman on transfer deadline day, but the former Premier League club want £30 million as transfer fee to part company with Sissoko.
The Baggies are not the only club who are (reportedly) interested in signing the France international midfielder on transfer deadline day.

According to The London Evening Standard, Tottenham are interested in the 27-year-old, while French publication L’Equipe has claimed that Chelsea want to sign the former Toulouse star.
West Brom will be aiming to push into the top 10 of the Premier League this season, while Newcastle are targeting automatic promotion from the Championship.
