The pair have been hugely important for the Premier League club in recent times.
West Brom manager Tony Pulis
West Bromwich Albion are hoping to tie both Darren Fletcher and Jonny Evans down to new contracts, according to the Telegraph.
The Telegraph reports that Fletcher’s current deal includes a clause that will see him earn an extension after he plays a certain number of games, but the Baggies are hoping to negotiate fresh terms much earlier.

Meanwhile, the Telegraph adds that the Midlands side are planning to try and get Evans to commit his future to the club after he was the subject of speculation linking him with a move to Arsenal during the summer transfer window.
While both men can go under the radar at times, their influence has been a key reason why Tony Pulis’ men have enjoyed such consistency in the top flight in recent times.

The former Manchester United pair are two of the more reliable performers in the club’s squad, starting all six of their league games so far this campaign, and contributing to the team’s move into the top half of the Premier League table.
Their consistency should continue to allow the likes of Nacer Chadli and Salomon Rondon to play their natural games as they know when they venture forward, that they have two stalwarts of the team behind them.
And having taken four points from their last two games, getting these two deals done will surely provide the squad with a boost that will help them continue their improved form.
