A report in the Daily Mail has suggested that West Bromwich Albion plan to reward both Chris Brunt and Ben Foster with new contracts following their excellent recent form.
The Mail reports that Brunt’s current deal at the Hawthorns expires at the end of the season. And while the amount of time he spent on the sidelines due to injury may have left some Baggies supporters wondering if the Northern Irishman’s days with the club were numbered, Tony Pulis now seems determined to sort out fresh terms with the 31-year-old.

The Mail adds that Pulis has been impressed by the way that Brunt has played since returning from nearly eight months out.
Though Brunt may not grab the headlines in the same way that the likes of Matt Phillips and Salomon Rondon have in recent times, his versatility means that he can certainly prove to be a crucial player for the Albion for a long while.

Meanwhile, the Mail reports that West Brom also hope to agree a new deal with Foster, whose contract expires at the end of next season.
Like Brunt, the 33-year-old has been impressive this term and his form has been one of the reasons why Pulis’ men now find themselves seventh in the table going into the hectic Christmas period.
