Burnley are said to have instigated fresh talks with West Bromwich Albion.

West Bromwich Albion are open to signing Sam Vokes as part of a deal to take Jay Rodriguez in the opposite direction to Burnley, according to the Daily Mail’s live blog (Wednesday 8th August, 11:45).
The newspaper claims Sean Dyche, the Burnley manager, has instigated fresh talks for Rodriguez and could include Vokes in his latest offer for the West Brom striker.
The Clarets are said to have had three offers of up to £16 million turned down by the Baggies.
But Darren Moore’s side could be more inclined to part with Rodriguez if they can get Vokes in return.

And according to the Daily Mail, Moore, the West Brom boss, hopes to convince the Welshman of a move to the Hawthorns amid rival interest from Middlesbrough.
The Baggies loaned Salomon Rondon to Newcastle United this week, and while Dwight Gayle arrived in exchange, Vokes could be better equipped to replace the Venezuelan’s physicality.
