West Bromwich Albion continue to be linked with the West Ham United player.

According to a report from the Express & Star, West Bromwich Albion have been put on red alert after striker target Diafra Sakho stayed in England while his West Ham United teammates flew out to America for their pre-season tour.
The forward continues to be linked with a move away from the Hammers this summer and it is now being reported that he is one of West Brom’s primary targets as they seek to strengthen their front line.

It goes on to claim that the Baggies will have to wait until West Ham manager Slaven Bilic is successful in signing a new striker of his own before he will sanction talks regarding the Senegal international.
Sakho has two years remaining on his West Ham contract, but with the Hammers allegedly seeking a fee in the region of £15million for his services it will be interesting to see how things play out in the coming months.

At his best he is a superb option for many sides in the top flight and there is every chance he would be a hit at The Hawthorns.
Injuries played their part last season yet considering his innate talent it is little surprise West Brom are interested and willing to bide their time.
