Report: West Brom now in talks to buy £16m star Bielsa really wants Leeds to sign

West Bromwich Albion could steal a march and beat Leeds United to the signing of Eberechi Eze, according to the Guardian.

The Sun have claimed that Marcelo Bielsa has specifically requested that Leeds make a move for Eze this summer, but it is West Brom who have acted first.

The newly promoted Baggies are apparently in contact with Queens Park Rangers over landing their most talented creator. 

West Brom are yet to make a bid but they have held informal talks, which could put them ahead of Leeds in the queue to sign the £16 million-rated midfielder.

If Eze was to join West Brom that could be a blow to Leeds, as he looks a potentially brilliant addition.

Eze has lit up the Championship this term, and his performances have caught the eye of multiple observers.

Eze is now one of the most in-demand players in England heading into the summer transfer window, with West Ham United and Crystal Palace also keen, the Guardian report
