West Bromwich Albion are said to be looking elsewhere now, having previously been linked with the Watford man.

According to Sky Sports News, West Bromwich Albion have cooled their interest in Watford striker Odion Ighalo.

The same news source claimed last week that the Baggies were in talks to bring the Nigeria international to The Hawthorns. However it is now being claimed that West Brom manager Tony Pulis is turning his attention elsewhere.

Sky Sports News reports that West Brom had considered a swap deal involving Ighalo and Saido Berahino when talks regarding the latter’s move to Stoke City reached an impasse.

However, the Potters got a deal over the line and Pulis is said to be unwilling to sanction a separate move for the Watford player.

The report goes on to state that West Brom still have money in the transfer kitty and that Pulis is currently deciding whether to move for an additional striker or another defender.

West Brom are flying high in the Premier League this season and with the right additions they could yet build on their impressive campaign.
