West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City in the summer transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Jeffrey Schlupp from Leicester City in the summer transfer window, according to The Telegraph.
It has been reported that West Brom have made a bid of £9 million to secure the services of Schlupp this summer.
Manager Tony Pulis is reportedly looking for a left-back and has identified the Ghana international as a suitable candidate.

“Pulis is determined to sign a left-sided defender ahead of the new season and had considered Leeds United defender Charlie Taylor, but Schlupp appeals due to his Premier League experience,” adds the report in The Telegraph.

Schlupp has been on the books of Leicester his entire professional club career so far and has established himself as an important member of the team.
The 23-year-old, who can play as a full-back or as a winger, scored one goal and created 17 chances in 24 Premier League appearances for the Foxes last season.
The Ghana international had a pass accuracy of 73% and a shot accuracy of 35%, and won 25 headers, 41 dribbles and 36 tackles.
Schlupp played an important role for Leicester in their Premier League title triumph during the 2015-16 campaign.
Claudio Ranieri’s side will be playing in the Champions League next season and could also be challenging for the league title.
Perhaps it would be best for Schlupp if he remains at the King Power Stadium for one more season at least…
