West Bromwich Albion are pursuing a deal for Kieran Gibbs.
According to Sky Sports, West Bromwich Albion have approached Arsenal about a deal for left back Kieran Gibbs – but aren’t willing to meet the £10millon asking price on his head.
The Baggies tied up a second addition of the summer on Monday, as defender Ahmed Hegazy joined the club on a season-long loan deal from Al Ahly, weeks after Jay Rodriguez joined from West Bromwich Albion.

Tony Pulis will now be looking for other signings ahead of the new Premier League season, and left back is a position he should be looking to strengthen after another season of struggle in that area.
Chris Brunt may be better suited further forward, Allan Nyom is naturally right-footed and Brendan Galloway endured a miserable loan spell before returning to parent club Everton at the end of last season.
Now, Sky Sports report that Pulis wants to sign a natural left back this summer, and the Baggies have allegedly approached Premier League rivals Arsenal about a deal to sign Kieran Gibbs.
However, there is already a problem in their pursuit, as it’s claimed that West Brom aren’t keen on meeting Arsenal’s £10million asking price for Gibbs, meaning that there may be some lengthy negotiations between the two clubs before a deal can be struck.

Gibbs, 27, has come up through the ranks with Arsenal, and he now has almost 250 appearances for the Gunners to his name, whilst he has even earned ten caps for England in the process.
Yet with just 18 starts in all competitions last season and Sead Kolasinac arriving on a free transfer from Schalke earlier this summer, Gibbs may now have to leave the Emirates Stadium to play regularly – and West Brom are offering themselves up as a potential destination, at the right price.
