West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on the Houston Dynamo winger.

Some West Brom fans may have felt underwhelmed with the news emerging from The Sun on Sunday (20/1; page 63) at the weekend that Darren Moore was considering handing Giles Barnes a contract as the Baggies looked to replace Harvey Barnes.
The former Colorado Rapids ace had not enjoyed the best season in Major League Soccer, so pursuing a potential move seemed like a disappointing reaction to losing one of their most influential players during the first-half of the campaign.
But it appears that Barnes is not the only MLS player that Moore has his eye on. And in fairness, the latest name linked with the Baggies appears to be the kind of target that should leave the supporters feeling a lot more excited.

While Barnes did not register a goal or assist in 12 appearances this past season, Elis managed to score 11 times and set up nine in 30 games for Houston.
It was a remarkable return from the 22-year-old, who can play out wide or lead the line and is already playing regularly for Honduras’ national side.
It is not clear how much the Baggies may have to pay for the youngster. But having scored 22 goals in two seasons in America, it should surprise few if he proves to be an inspired signing if Moore can get a deal done in the coming days.
