West Brom will reportedly step up their interest in Chris Smalling.
Smalling joined United in 2010 from Fulham, and made over 150 Premier League appearances for the Red Devils.
The 27-year-old is also a regular member of the England national team, and has 31 international caps under his belt.

However, Smalling has dropped down the pecking order at United, and is reportedly on his way out of Old Trafford this summer.
West Brom have expressed a strong interest in his services since the end of last term, and they will attempt to secure a £10 million deal for the defender once the Midlands club return from the Hong Kong leg of their pre-season tour of Asia.
The Baggies will have to move quickly for Smalling since he is being reportedly monitored by other Premier League clubs like Leicester City, Stoke City, and Crystal Palace.
Smalling has a wealth of Premier League experience, and Tony Pulis is keen to reunite the defender with his former Old Trafford team-mate Jonny Evans at the heart of West Brom defence.
