Baggies boss Tony Pulis is understood to be keen on bringing Turkish international Okay Yokuslu to West Brom in January.

West Brom might have strengthened their midfield with the high profile additions of Gareth Barry and Grzegorz Krychowiak in the summer but it appears that under-fire manager Tony Pulis is still keen to enhance his options.

Pulis is understood to have watched the 23-year-old defensive midfielder and is keen to do a deal for a player valued at around £10 million.
Yokuslu has been one of the most impressive performers in the Turkish Super Lig so far in 2017/18, starting all 11 games for an otherwise disappointing Trabzonspor team who sit 12th in the table.
The five-time Turkish international is a defensive midfielder by trade, renowned for his ball-winning exploits and ability to protect the back four. However, Yokuslu is also a good passer of the ball, meaning he could be a valuable addition to a West Brom side who look to sit back and hit teams on the break.

Yokuslu has accumulated 17 yellow cards in the last two seasons and has four in 11 games so far this.
Where the former Kayserispor ace would fit in at West Brom remains to be seen. Along with Barry and Krychowiak, Pulis can also choose from Jake Livermore, Claudio Yacob and highly-rated youngster Sam Field in the centre of the park.
