West Bromwich Albion are reportedly interested in signing Swansea City defender Federico Fernandez in the January transfer window.
West Bromwich Albion are interested in signing Federico Fernandez from Swansea City in the January transfer window, according to The Sun.
It has been reported by the British tabloid that West Brom manager Tony Pulis wants to add Fernandez to his current squad.
Pulis will reportedly offer around £7 million to Swansea in order to secure the services of the Argentine defender.

“Swansea do not want to sell but know the highly-rated Fernandez is one of their most saleable assets,” adds the report in The Sun.
Fernandez has been on the books of Swansea since 2014 and has established himself as an important player in the team.
The 27-year-old is a very good centre-back, and the Argentine would certainly be a good signing for West Brom.

However, with Swansea struggling for survival in the Premier League, one has to why the Swans would even contemplate parting company with such a good player.
The Welsh outfit are at the foot of the Premier League table at the moment with just 12 points from 19 matches.
Meanwhile, West Brom currently find themselves eighth in the standings with 26 points from 19 games and could finish the season in the top 10.
