West Bromwich Albion missed out on the Frenchman, so have now switch their attention to Hull City midfielder Jake Livermore.
A report in the Daily Mirror has suggested that West Brom have identified Hull City ace Jake Livermore as a potential alternative to Morgan Schneiderlin, but may have to pay a hefty price to land the 27-year-old.
The Mirror reports that the Baggies had wanted to sign the Manchester United midfielder, but ultimately missed out as he completed a switch to Everton to be reunited with his former Southampton boss Ronald Koeman.

But it appears that Tony Pulis was prepared to potentially miss out on the Frenchman as the Mirror suggests that he has now switched his attention to the Hull City man.
However, while West Brom may have perhaps hoped that the fact that he has just 18 months left on his deal at the KCOM Stadium (via Mirror) may have meant that they were able to land him for a lower price, it appears that the Tigers have no intention of letting Livermore go on the cheap.
The Mirror suggests that Hull want £15 million for the former Tottenham man as they hope to make double the amount they paid for him in 2014.

Although Pulis may be hesitant about paying such an amount, Livermore is perhaps doing enough to justify something like the fee that Hull are looking for.
He has been one of the brighter players within the Hull squad this term, and has shown that he is capable of playing in midfield or in defence.
