West Brom are reportedly hoping to sign Liverpool defender Mamadou Sakho. The Frenchman prefers a move to either Crystal Palace or West Ham.
Central defence is one area where West Brom need to invest this summer, and Tony Pulis is keen to make a few additions before the transfer window closes.

The Baggies are close to signing Tottenham Hotspur defender, Kevin Wimmer, but West Brom are still looking to sign one more quality defender, Sakho being one of their targets.
It is not clear whether Pulis sees Sakho as a replacement for Jonny Evans, who is targeted by Manchester City.
Pep Guardiola’s side have had a £18 million bid rejected already, as West Brom are seeking a transfer fee in the north of £30 million.
Sakho, 27, is a class defender, but he is out of favour at Anfield, with Jurgen Klopp banishing him due to disciplinary issues last season.
The report adds that Sakho personally favours a move to Crystal Palace, where he spent the last season on loan, or West Ham.
