West Bromwich Albion ‘hope to seal’ a £30 million deal for Tottenham Hotspur duo Kevin Wimmer and Vincent Janssen on Wednesday, according to The Sun.

The Times reported overnight that Wimmer has gone cold on the idea of moving to The Hawthorns, with Albion boss Tony Pulis having earmarked the Austrian for an unfamiliar left-back role.

But, according to The Sun, West Brom remain confident of landing the centre-back, along with striker Janssen, with Tottenham ‘willing to sell’ and the Baggies’ personal offers ‘set to top’ those of rival suitors.

It is claimed the pair will cost £15 million each.

But while Wimmer’s sale should come as little surprise given Spurs’ imminent capture of Davinson Sanchez from Ajax, Janssen’s exit is somewhat less expected – despite his struggles in north London – with Mauricio Pochettino’s side yet to strengthen up front.

According to The Sun, West Brom are ‘still in the hunt’ to sign their former loan defender Marc Wilson from Bournemouth, with Manchester City circling around Jonny Evans.

It is claimed that Stoke City are ‘keeping an eye’ on Janssen, having also been linked with a move for Wimmer earlier this week.
