West Bromwich Albion could yet bring Harvey Barnes back to The Hawthorns.

According to The Mirror, West Bromwich Albion are interested in luring winger Harvey Barnes back to The Hawthorns before Thursday’s transfer deadline.
After showing promise on loan at Barnsley in the first half of last season, West Brom took Barnes on loan back in the summer, agreeing a season-long deal with Leicester City.
The 21-year-old became a star at The Hawthorns, hitting nine goals and six assists in 26 Championship outings for the Baggies, playing a key role behind Jay Rodriguez and Dwight Gayle in attack.
Unfortunately for West Brom, Leicester decided to recall Barnes earlier this month, and he not only started against Wolverhampton Wanderers last weekend, but had a part in a goal as his shot was deflected into the net by Conor Coady.
Intriguingly though, The Mirror report that Leicester’s staff feel Barnes isn’t quite ready for Premier League action yet, and that has given West Brom hope of a deal.
After all, the Baggies are in a very strong position here. If Leicester do want to loan Barnes out again, then the only club he can go to if West Brom, having already played for them and Leicester this season.

Barnes would not be allowed to play for another club under FIFA Transfer Regulations, meaning that his end to the season must be spend with either Leicester or West Brom.
The Baggies now have renewed hope that Barnes will end up back with Darren Moore for the rest of the campaign, in what would be a huge boost to West Brom’s promotion hopes.
