Burnley reportedly want West Bromwich Albion forward Jay Rodriguez.
Jay Rodriguez is a player in demand, with West Ham United, Crystal Palace, Burnley and Bournemouth reported to be interested in the West Bromwich Albion forward.
According to Sky Sports, Premier League side Burnley, Bournemouth, West Ham and Palace all want to secure the services of Rodriguez from West Brom this summer.
With the Baggies having been relegated to the Championship, they may be forced to sell some of their players in the summer transfer window.
Rodriguez, though, wants to move to Burnley, according to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 19:01pm, Saturday, June 9, 2018).
It has been reported that the former Southampton forward is keen on a return to Burnley this summer.
Good move?
Rodriguez started his profession club football career at Burnley and played for the Clarets until 2012 before leaving for Southampton.
The forward has not had a great impact at West Brom since his move from the Saints in the summer of 2017 for a transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £12 million.
The England international scored seven goals and provided one assists in 31 Premier League starts for the Baggies this past season.
Having played for Burnley and given his quality to play in the Premier League, Rodriguez returning to Turf Moor would not be a bad idea.
