West Bromwich Albion winger Callum McManaman is looking to leave, but former club Sheffield Wednesday have not made any offer.

A report in the Express and Star has suggested that West Brom are having difficulty trying to move Callum McManaman off their books this summer.
Tony Pulis is keen for McManaman to move on during the coming months, two years after the Baggies spent £4.75 million on bringing him to the Hawthorns.

The winger has only made 20 Premier League appearances in that time, and spent much of last season out on loan with Sheffield Wednesday.
Pulis may have been hoping that Wednesday were keen to sign him permanently, despite his unspectacular spell at Hillsborough, but the Express and Star reports that the Owls have not made any contact about a subsequent deal and the loan did not include a permanent option.

The Express and Star adds that McManaman is also keen to move on after his difficult time with West Brom, but it appears that the Baggies may have to drop their asking price if they hope to find a buyer.
The fact that McManaman’s prospects of breaking into the team seem so bleak when the Baggies squad is so thin undoubtedly highlights how desperate both the club and player are for another team to offer him a way out – but it appears currently that no resolution is close.
