According to a report from the Sun (print edition Sunday September 2nd, page 59), West Brom failed with a deadline day bid to sign Stoke City’s Bojan on a season-long loan.

The former Barcelona academy graduate joined the Potters in the summer of 2014, for a bargain fee of just £3 million, but he has failed to live up to expectations at the BET 365 Stadium, scoring just 15 goals for the club.

Darren Moore still saw enough in Bojan, however, to think that the Spaniard would have had a real impact in the Hawthorns, according to a report from the Sun (print edition Sunday September 2nd, page 59).

The British tabloid claims that West Brom shifted their attention to Bojan, after failing with move to sign Bradley Dack from Blackburn Rovers.

Moore will instead have to make do with what he has, but the Baggies should still have enough to make a push for promotion back to the Premier League.
