West Bromwich Albion are reportedly keen on signing Cameron John from Wolverhampton Wanderers this summer.

The Baggies are yet to make a signing during this window, but it would probably be little surprise if they took their summer plans up a gear or two in the very near future with just over a month until they kick off their season against Bolton Wanderers.

Jonny Evans has already left for Leicester City and the Mail alludes to doubts regarding the futures of both Ben Foster and Craig Dawson. The Mail suggests that Moore has his eye on signing a couple of centre-backs and John is a player that he admirers.

John is still awaiting his first-team debut for the Premier League newbies, so he would certainly be something of an unknown quantity if he did end up making the move to The Hawthorns this summer.
It may be too soon to expect the youngster to immediately help fill the void in the back line, but it may prove to be a deal that ultimately looks inspired if Moore is able to help John realise his full potential in the coming years.
