West Brom and Crystal Palace are amongst the group of clubs from the Premier League and Championship considering a move for Nottingham Forest’s Joe Lolley this summer, according to a report from the Daily Mail.

Lolley has enjoyed an outstanding season at the City Ground. Although Martin O’Neill’s men have been out of the promotion race for a while, the 26-year-old’s form has brought the side a lot of success over the last year.

Lolley has scored 10 goals and provided 11 assists for Forest in the Championship. And unsurprisingly, his form is now attracting a lot of attention heading into the summer.

He has been linked with Aston Villa in recent times, and Nottinghamshire Live reports that the Villans remain keen on the attacking midfielder. But the Daily Mail is also suggesting that Palace, the Baggies and Watford are all interested in the former Huddersfield Town man.

West Brom and Villa will be hoping that they can offer Lolley Premier League football ahead of next season. As things stand, the two sides will meet in the semi-finals of the play-offs unless James Shan’s men can push themselves into third on the final day of the regular campaign.

The interest could potentially put the pressure on Forest ahead of the upcoming window. Lolley may be content to stay at the City Ground beyond the summer, but he may feel that the club need to make sure that they show some real ambition in the market to give them a better chance of putting themselves in the promotion race this time next year.
