West Brom are reportedly weighing up whether to terminate Grzegorz Krychowiak’s loan deal during the January transfer window in an attempt to boost their transfer kitty, according to The Sun.

When Krychowiak was signed during the summer, it appeared that the Baggies had pulled off a stunning deal, with the Paris Saint-Germain midfielder boasting a reputation for being one of the finest holding midfielders in Europe before his arrival at The Hawthorns.

However, his time with West Brom has been extremely underwhelming. The Poland international has struggled to make an impact in the Premier League, and it now appears that he may not see out his loan deal.

According to The Sun, the Baggies are considering cancelling his spell with the club next month to give Alan Pardew’s budget a boost as the club look to get themselves out of trouble in the Premier League.

The Sun reports that Krychowiak is earning around £100,000 a week at The Hawthorns, so it is little surprise that the club are weighing up whether to cancel the agreement with PSG.

The midfielder was not even in the West Brom squad for their defeat to Stoke at the weekend, so it is surely fair to say that if he is not in the manager’s plans, it makes absolutely no sense to keep such an expensive player on the books, especially as West Brom find themselves in such a precarious position.
